Chapter 4491: Why Not

Beyond that, those who had truly broken into the Immortal realm could also rely on this absolute means to add an additional law. That meant that the Divine King, who naturally resonated with two cosmic laws, could become comparable to a three-law Immortal after adding its own law.

That was the Divine King's true power.

For Ni Bieluo, helping Lu Yin break free was indeed the best option. Only by allowing him to kill Death's Dominion and increase his own karmic chain could Ni Bieluo avoid future trouble for itself and the Mudwater Dominion.

In the distance, Death's Dominion shouted sharply, "Old thing, you are making an enemy of us!"

Death's Dominion continued, "The steed of time was Pan's mount. Back then, it defended one direction together with Pan. After Pan died in that battle, the steed of time was captured by our Death Megaverse. Throughout its entire life, it only ever acknowledged Pan. Other than him, no other being could ride that horse, not even a three-law powerhouse.

"After it was captured, even when transformed into a skeleton with Bone Script, after its flesh was torn away and it became a skeleton horse, it still refused to submit. For all eternity, it refuses to turn over. It lays with all four hooves pointed skyward, so that no one can ever ride it. It is still in the Death Megaverse."

A roar rang in Lu Yin's mind. Four hooves raised to the sy, never turning over for all eternity, so that no one can ever ride it. The steed of time, now a skeletal horse.

"It was Pans most important companion. When he died in that battle, only his horse accompanied him to the very end. If you truly care about Pan, then you should let me go, and I will release the steed of time.

"I promise that I will release it. In any case, keeping it in our Death Megaverse is useless. Without my help, you will never be able to take it away."

Lu Yin looked at Death's Dominion and calmly asked, "You want to make a deal?"

Death's Dominion nodded. "Yes, a deal."

Lu Yin's eyes remained frigid. "If Pan were alive, would he agree? You are not worthy of making a deal with me. Trading your life for the steed of time would disgrace the steed of time if it learned of it.

"All creatures may value what benefits them, but burning blood should never be stained by profit. You are not worthy to speak of them." As soon as he finished speaking, Lu Yin teleported in front of Death's Dominion and threw another punch. This punch shattered half of their massive skull.

Death's Dominion let out a roar. Not worthy? Those words dragged it back to an ancient battlefield from ages ago. One man and one horse had defended an entire front of the battlefield, both with cold eyes. Death's Dominion had wanted to charge forward, yet they had not dared to. Even that horse had looked down on them.

A voice had stopped them from advancing, telling them that they were not worthy to fight the two defenders.

Why were they not worthy? Even during that ancient era, they had resonated with two cosmic laws. How were they not worthy?

They never wanted to see that same condescending gaze again. How dare a mere mount, a mere horse, look down on them?

A skeletal palm slapped at Lu Yin. He raised a hand, taking the blow head-on, only to then spin around and lash out with a kick that snapped the skeletal hand. Death's Dominions other hand swept in, only to be met by Lu Yin's Star Fist, which blasted the skeletons arm apart.

Lu Yin was far smaller than Death's Dominion, yet he kept tearing the bones apart, destroying them, smashing them, crushing them inch by inch, and causing the massive body to shrink constantly.

Death's Dominion resisted like they had gone mad. Every time they attacked, more of their bones were shattered. They forgot what stood before them, forgot about Lu Yin. It was as if Death's Dominion had returned to that ancient battlefield and was looking at that man and horse standing calmly in the distance. Charge! Charge forward!

They wanted to charge forward again.

Bang!

The skull flew up. Lu Yin seized Death's Dominion's skull, stared into those two dark sockets with an icy gaze, and then struck down with a palm.

The bones shattered. The swaying body slowly collapsed.

In the distance, Ni Bieluo saw this, and it immediately looked at Lu Yin's wrist. The karmic chain had just increased further, even more than expected.

Far beyond that megaverse, Lu Yin held shattered white bones in a hand while his head slowly turned to look back.

The Trio fell silent.

Lu Yin, Ni Bieluo, and the Divine King looked at one another.

From the perspectives of the Divine King and Ni Bieluo, they saw Death's Dominions headless skeleton collapse. It was a deeply shocking sight.

Death's Dominion was absolutely no weakling, and yet they had died such a miserable death. This scene silenced every powerhouse who witnessed it.

Before the creature, its trident spun. "Human, do you still want to fight?"

"Why not?" Lu Yin answered coldly.

Ni Bieluo continued in a low voice, "Your karmic chain is continuously growing. Do you intend to leave yourself unable to act ever again? Or do you intend to die in this battle?

"Do not forget that you were only freed because of me."

Lu Yins eyes narrowed. "Since you came to attack my human civilization, you shouldnt even dream of leaving this place in one piece."

He then turned to stare at the Divine King. "The same goes for you. I will completely wipe out your Divine Realm."

The Divine King spoke up, "Even now, you may still not be able to defeat me. And yet fighting you has lost all meaning for me. No matter who wins, the price that must be paid would be unbearable. Human, protect your own civilization well."

After speaking, the light turned and left.

Ni Bieluo did the same, instantly vanishing with its trident.

Lu Yin could not easily catch up to Ni Bieluo. Its trident allowed it to also teleport. However, Lu Yin could catch up to the Divine King.

He vanished, teleporting away. He reappeared in front of the Divine King. Lu Yin threw a punch, simple and direct.

The Divine King was still in its state of having forcibly added a law, and countless points of white light formed sharp blades that slashed forward.

The Aevum Inch was split in two. Lu Yin's fist was torn open, and blood poured from the wound. At this moment, he was effectively fighting directly a creature that was approaching the level of a three-law Immortal.

The Divine Realm was a powerful fishing civilization. In terms of standing , it stood practically equal to Obscura and the Death Megaverse, and that was solely because of the Divine Kings existence.

"Human, you cannot defeat me. Do not seek your own death!" the Divine King shouted sharply.
