Wang Wen smiled. "Just as I expected. Your Royal Chesspiece, a breakthrough is a good thing, but if your karmic chain is completed immediately after your breakthrough, your path as an Immortal ends then and there."

"You predicted that Lu Yin would break through?"

"Is Gao Tian your final move? Why would the bird listen to you?"

After speaking, the birds eyes suddenly locked onto the Cauldron. "Hmm? The Ninth Ramparts guardian artifact?"

Green Lotus and Mister Mu stood to either side of the cauldron. Gao Tian glanced at them and smiled. "That cauldron is mine."

After speaking, it vanished, reappearing before the Cauldron, completely ignoring the two men as its talons reached out.

Lu Yin teleported over and threw out a punch.

With a bang, his fist struck the talons. Space was ripped apart as a surge of force spread out from the point of impact.

Green Lotus and Mister Mu hurriedly retreated with the Cauldron.

Gao Tian looked at tiny Lu Yins tiny form beneath its talons. Immense force surged through the birds body, forcing it to teleport back in order to stabilize itself.

Lu Yin frowned. What powerful defenses. Although it was physically weaker than him, Gao Tians defenses far surpassed Death's Dominions. This was the defense of a three-law Immortal. Even without specializing in defense or strength, such a lifeform naturally surpassed two-law Immortals.

If Lu Yin were confronted by Gao Tian before his breakthrough, he would not have been able to even damage a single feather.

Wang Wens planning ran deep, often preparing three steps ahead with one move. Lu Yin had believed that Ni Bieluo and the other powerhouses were Wang Wens most powerful move, as his human civilization could not possibly withstand such enemies. Gao Tian being sent as well was entirely unexpected.

Lu Yin met the birds gaze. He did not open Heavens Sight. "I remember you too, Gao Tian. While it looked like I had managed to seal you, the truth is that you used that situation to force out Wang Wen, creating an opportunity for you to fight him.

"Unfortunately, you proved to be no match for Wang Wen, and he beat you so badly that you didnt dare to even return home."

Gao Tians expression turned gloomy.

Lu Yin sounded confused. "Wang Wen should clearly be your great enemy, so why would you help him?"

Gao Tian sneered. "At your level, you are not qualified to know. Still, you are somewhat special. You obtained my Plume Immortals ability to teleport, and you managed t force me back with brute force. That is quite extraordinary, not to mention that you even caused Wang Wen to use me."

Lu Yin frowned. "You know that you are being used, and yet you still willingly take action? You really have no shame. Not only have you disgraced yourself, but youve also disgraced the Plume Immortals. While Ive always believed you birds to be shameless, you are even worse than that."

"Courting death!" Gao Tian grew enraged, and it teleported above Lu Yins head, attacking him with its talons. The birds overwhelming aura was like a mountain crashing down. Although it lacked the sheer vastness of Death's Dominions Stillness or the sharp oppression of Ni Bieluos trident, the bird still gave off an indescribable pressure and an irresistible force. It was like when Lu Yin had faced the Immortal monster for the first time; there was a fundamental and crushing sense of superiority.

This was the aura of a three-law powerhouse. If the aura of a one-law Immortal was likened to mist, visible yet untouchable, then a two-law Immortals aura would be like water, visible and tangible. However, a three-law Immortal had an aura like stone: solid and capable of pressing down.

Gao Tian was completely different from both Ming Yu and Chang Dou.

His breakthrough had completely healed all of his previous injuries. Not even when facing off against Death's Dominion or the Divine King had Lu Yin suffered such wounds.

Gao Tian had injured him with a single move.

Still, it was only a superficial wound.

Lu Yin stared at the rip in his arm. How had he been attacked? He had not even seen anything, and yet the bird had somehow managed to tear open his arm even through Extremes Must Be Reversed. The sharpness of that attack was absolutely terrifying.

Gao Tian suddenly teleported again, its talons falling once more. This time, Lu Yin was on guard. Without moving his fist, his Lifeforce surged upwards like an ocean. He managed to see the attack this time: it was a streak of sharpness that sliced through his Lifeforce, originating from the talons. This attack was aimed directly at his head.

Lu Yin tilted his head to the side to avoid the strike. He then stepped forward, teleporting behind Gao Tian and throwing another punch. However, Gao Tian instantly vanished as well, reappearing with a Godplume Spear as it thrust through space at Lu Yin.

This was not Nan Lings Godplume Spear. Lu Yin was very clear that it was impossible for him to block Gao Tians spear. If he took this attack head-on, he would be injured, just like when he had originally faced off against Ming Yu and Chang Dou.

Evasion was the only option.
