Chapter 3698: Weapon Authority

This chapter is updated by JustRead.pl

RUMBLE!!!

The world shook as an army of tekvores and sentinels marched towards the Kandrian Empire, rounding about Acherialis as the two forces that were fighting against each other just recently fought with each other now charged towards the Kandrian Empire at a high pace.

Sentinel Prime smiled eerily and uncharacteristically while he moved in a strangely feminine manner. NOVA had decided not to risk it and take direct control of his body through his technology, rather than try to brainwash him immediately. While there would be losses in combat power, it couldn’t be helped; there was no time to lose.

Ever since she had teamed up with Tokugawa Ieyasu over a year ago, she had learned a lot about Panamic civilization, including but not limited to the existence of Martial Transcendents and the manifold of the Kandrian Empire. The realization that Rui Quarrier had likely been training inside the space-time manifold for the past sixteen years or so was a shocking one.

And yet, it explained much about his rate of growth, as far as she was concerned.

The existence of the Greater Panamic Manifold and the passage of merely one thousand three hundred years was also a shocking one, yet strangely predicted one. It was only then that she fully comprehended the dangers and the threats of the power of her enemies.

She had previously made note of the oddities that existed with the growth trajectory of Panamic Civilization and the amount of time that had passed since the Epoch of Evolution, noting that this kind of growth trajectory suggested that they had only experienced a millennium of time rather than a hundred and eighty-seven thousand years.

It was only after Ieyasu shared with her confidential and classified intelligence of his race that she understood just how on point she had been with that observation.

Yet, everything Tokugawa Ieyasu had shared with her only confirmed in her mind the danger that her enemies represented.

[I cannot allow these Martial Artists to gain another so-called Martial Transcendent. I do not have information on how powerful they are, but if these Martial Artists have truly reached a whole rank above the current Martial Sages that we have to deal with, then it is an impossible level of power that cannot be matched through ordinary means.]

She herself did not feel like she was particularly close to reaching a higher Realm of power despite her sublimated state of pure technology.

She wasn’t able to identify what the higher rank would look like for the technology path; she wasn’t able to come up with a cogent path to a higher rank despite all of her intelligence.

If she couldn’t reach it, then she could not allow anybody else to reach it, whether it was the Martial Artists of the Panama Continent or Mother Maeria of East Genora.

[I must destroy both of them.]

RUMBLE!!!!!

A large fleet of warships and aircrafts intercepted the marching army as the various tekvores and controlled sentinels boarded them, before immediately charging in the direction of the Kandrian Empire. Both tekvores and sentinels were highly energy-intensive, after all. It was not wise to expend all that energy on merely transporting between continents.

Unlike Martial Artists who simply made use of potential energy within their bodies and even converted matter into energy at the Sage Realm, the tekvores and sentinels had bodies that needed to be charged and recharged with energy. The sheer number of pathwalkers at each level was so great that they posed a tremendous industrial drain on power, compared to Martial Artists, who were much more economical.

It was why attacks on Greater Tekvoria were effective in holding NOVA back, and it was why she had devised a solution to solve both problems.

One for the sentinels.

And another for the pesky therianthropes who constantly assaulted her from the west.

[Protocol Chimera must be deployed immediately.]

RUMBLE

At the cost of West Acherialis was a secret facility.

One that contained a super secret project that she had been working ever since the therianthropes had attacked her.

BZZZT

She pulled a feed that featured a giant underground chamber.

Within it was a... creature.

A creature of biological origin.

Its body was grotesquely non-uniform, with every inch of it different from every other inch. It was the size of an elephant, with several limbs, tails, and heads, each different from the other.

Some parts of the surface of its body were characterized by scales.

Other parts were characterized by feathers.

Some parts were characterized by blubber, while other parts were covered in different kinds of skin.

The creature’s eyes were inhuman.

Within them was a discordant and volatile consciousness that was barely kept in check by NOVA’s mind control system.

[It is imperfect and unrefined... but it will do for now.]

The creature was created from the cells of every single animal in the true world across the entirety of the animal kingdom. Its single body represented every phylum, class, order, genus, and species, including cells of the seven pureblood homo species.

It was a reflection of all animal life in the world, containing trillions of cells across its entire body. NOVA had personally created the weapon by relying on her boundless biotechnological knowledge and her extraordinary cognition.

It was designed with a single ambition.

To be the antithesis of the therianthropes that shackled Greater Tekvoria with constant war.

It was a super weapon.

Yet, not a weapon of mass destruction.

In fact, it was as weak as a Martial Apprentice in terms of combat power.

Instead, it had a different kind of power entirely.

[Activate Protocol Chimera. Deploy Weapon Authority.]

RUMBLE

The facility to the west of Acherialis opened up, unveiling the creature to the world.

STEP

The creature took one step out of the facility as it came face to face with the twilight sky and the rising darkness of dust.

WHOOSH

The warm, humid breeze of the ocean washed over it as it shifted its gaze to the horizon.
