They dilated as they beheld the beasts that the therianthrope Beast Tamers had tamed. They dilated as a profoundly intense urge emerged within the creature’s biological system.
[Yes... that’s right...] NOVA whispered directly into its mind. [You want to dominate them, do you not?]
She activated several cerebral implants, manipulating their serotonin system, a system that played a role in establishing one’s role in the dominance hierarchy within and between species.
She created an unfathomable urge and desire to dominate.
To control.
To command.
[Now go...] she whispered to the chimera. [Go fulfill your heart’s desire. I have given you the power to do just that.]
The creature did not need more telling; it charged at the ocean at a remarkably high speed with ferocious aggression. NOVA metaphorically smiled with anticipation as she watched with excitement.
Project Chimera had been built with one and only one idea in mind.
Authority of Alpha was not limited to the Beast Path.
Authority of Alpha could be harnessed by others outside the Beast Path.
It could be harnessed by non-pathwalkers as well.
The evidence for this came in the form of Rui Quarrier as well as the World Serpent. All this time, she had mistakenly assumed that the Authority of Alpha was beyond her reach.
The only question was how someone like Rui achieved it?
She didn’t have proof because she hadn’t been there when he employed it, but if she had to make a decisive conclusion, she assumed that it was a product of his cognition.

The solution to this problem was simple.
