Each blow Sentinel Prime exerted on his body deepened the damage he was subject to. Each attack that ravaged his body pushed him further and further beyond his limitations.RUMBLE!!!!!!
The world shook as Sentinel Prime ravaged Blood Lord Vrukshus’s body with an unfathomable amount of damage.
"ARRGHHHHHH!!!!!" The powerful Transcendent Candidate had been rendered incapacitated with the frequency of damage he undertook with each passing moment.
He resembled an opponent in battle less than he did a victim test subject to some torturous routine. He had lost all mobility and ability to escape, reduced to a balled up turtle as Sentinel Prime bathed him with unfathomably overpowered attacks.
"The fact that you have survived this much punishment and damage is truly impressive, but..." Sentinel Prime’s voice was chilling. "I cannot help but notice that you are highly protective of your brain."
Chills crawled across Blood Lord Vrukshus’s crumpled body at those words.
"You... you haven’t made use of that healing resource, have you?" She realized. "Which means that you can certainly die if damage is inflicted to the one part of your body that sees no blood; your brain."
Pure terror crawled into Blood Lord Vrukshus’s body as he activated a forbidden technique that burned lifespan to enhance regeneration and healing.
He could get the Dawnbringer to restore his lifespan after the battle was over, but he needed to ensure that he didn’t die!
"That little trick is not going to save you."
Blood Lord Vrukshus’s eyes widened as Sentinel Prime unleashed an ocean of destruction upon him.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMM!!!!!!
An attack so powerful that it erased the entirety of Blood Lord Vrukshus’s body, except for his head.
And yet, not even that was enough to kill him.
Even though a head alone couldn’t supply enough energy to recreate the rest of his body, his blood had been programmed to return to his body, allowing him to regain some of the destroyed mass of his body while regaining the remaining from the elements of the atmosphere.
’As long as I make it in time, I can still survive—’
CRACK
His eyes lost their light as Sentinel Prime stepped on his body-less head, crushing his brain to mush.
Just like that, a Transcendent Candidate had been met with death.
It sent a shockwave through the battlefield.
Martial Artists reeled from the shock as they struggled to partake in their own battles.
What chance did they have for survival now that Sentinel Prime had killed their strongest warrior? He could just utterly annihilate all of them one by one if he wanted to!
Yet, Sentinel Prime’s cybernetic eyes remained fixed on the corpse of the Transcendent Candidate.
Shockingly enough, his blood and body still continued to regenerate even though his brain was reduced to mush. His skull was pieced back together while his flesh was restored.
His body began to weave back together as his blood restored everything.
Sentinel Prime watched with amazement as what should have been a corpse still somehow functioned even after the brain had been destroyed. NOVA was an exert on biotechnology, for all tekvore technology was cyborg technology; a hybrid between non-organic and organic technology.
She grew tremendously curious about the attainments of the former Transcendent Candidate. She hadn’t ever imagined that the man would somehow be able to allow his body to weave together without any conscious direction from the brain whatsoever.
"It’s the blood." She realized as she watched the blood weave the body together. "Somehow, this man managed to program an autonomous biological software into his blood to be able to complete highly complex tasks without any intervention from the brain. How fascinating!
"
She hadn’t expected to come across such an interesting piece of biotechnology in her crippling of the Panama Continent, but she was not one to reject a gift that offered itself to her.
With the brain still reduced to mush, it was no different from a brain-dead living corpse.
"I shall claim his body as a spoil of war," she declared as she opened up a storage compartment within Sentinel Prime’s massive body, placing the living corpse in a stasis chamber, before redirecting her gaze in the direction of her objective.
"The Kandrian Empire. There’s no one left to get in my way anymore."
She had no intention of wasting time with the Martial Artists fighting her army. The Emperor of Harmony would want her to waste as much time in battle away from the Kandrian Empire as possible. And while she was confident that she would still achieve her goal regardless, she didn’t want to let anything chance and focused on the Kandrian Empire from the very get-go.
RUMBLE...
A wave of tremors emerging from the South-West drew her knowing attention for a moment.
"You have my gratitude, Suneater." She mused knowingly as she gazed at his distant, hazy giant body from afar.
He was so big that he could be seen and felt from a massive distance away, even if barely.
She could vaguely sense that he was fighting several entities even as he advanced towards the Kandrian Empire at a steady rate. If not for him, those powerful Transcendent Candidates would have been able to gang up on her and hold her back from reaching the Kandrian Empire in Sentinel Prime’s body.
Their colleague would not have died either, leaving them even stronger.
That was why she had waited for the return of Suneater to activate Protocol Infiltration and Protocol Chimera.
"Let’s go, Weapon Authority."
The hybrid creature heeded the advice of his master as it leaped on top of her body.
WHOOSH!
Sentinel Prime charged in the direction of the Kandrian Empire at full speed, moving at extraordinary velocities.
The Martial Sages reacted with alarm.
"Stop him!"
"Do not allow him to reach the Kandrian Empire!"
"We must protect our homeland!"
The air boiled with peril as they each tried to stop NOVA from reaching the heart of Panamic Civilization.
Yet, try as they might, the tekvores, sentinels, and beasts they fought began to aggressively attack with all their power, putting a tremendous amount of pressure on them, forcing them to engage whether they liked it or not.
Matriarch Nephi gritted her teeth as she turned towards the escaping Sentinel Prime.
She didn’t need prophecy to see the future of that chain of events!
She charged towards the compromised leader of the sentinels.
And yet, she never reached.
SPLAT!
Her eyes widened as the edge of a giant blade emerged from her torso through her back.
An attack that exceeded the power of prophecy.
An attack of chaos.
She turned around even as she coughed blood, glaring at the Abyssal Mirror MECHA with murderous rage.
"I... should have killed you when I had the chance."
SPLAT!
Tokugawa withdrew his blade as a flood of blood rushed out of the gaping wound in her torso.
THUD
Her body struck the ground as a pool of blood immediately trickled around her motionless body.
