The Suneater stared at the strange new humanoid machine, fighting off the pesky woman holding him back with a curious expression. He hadn’t expected something to intervene out of nowhere, appearing and disappearing back and forth."Everybody is teleporting these days."
He hadn’t been apprised of the situation at the bottom of the Great Void Ocean. He had returned to Gaia not for the negatron matter but rather to quench his thirst with the profound water that he had sensed more than a year ago.
He turned in the direction of the Kandrian Empire.
He didn’t know what the black humanoid machine was or why it was fighting the insect that was annoying him just a few moments prior, but he didn’t care.
"I seek to quench my thirst."
Far away, Amare spotted the giant returning his attention to the Kandrian Empire with a grim expression as her sense of desperation grew to new heights.
BOOOM BOOOM BOOOM BOOOM BOOOM!!!!!
She unleashed a destructive flurry of blasts against Ieyasu’s powerful machine.
Each attack dented the machine’s armor lightly.
Dwarven craftsmanship was so excellent that even Amare’s attacks could not allow her to destroy the exterior of the MECHA quickly. Even if the Abyssal Mirror was not as powerful as God’s Hammer, which received the best efforts and resources, it was still a highly well-crafted machine.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!
She gritted her teeth, guarding a heavy attack from the Abyssal Mirror as she leaped away to reduce the impact. It didn’t help that she was already quite tired and wounded from fighting the Suneater for extended periods of time.
On top of that, Tokugawa Ieyasu’s output was much, much greater than she could have expected of a Martial Sage who broke a little over two years ago. Even if he was supposedly of the same caliber of extraordinary as Rui, Rui had only broken through to a high-grade Sage-level from the get-go, not including Gigabrain.
With Tokugawa, his MECHA amplified his power to an extraordinary degree. Amare knew that MECHAs could bridge the gaps between Realms and ranks within a Realm with its sheer force multiplier effect, but she had never seen an example of a Martial Sage wielding one until that day.
Even if she was confident she would crush him outside of the MECHA, it didn’t matter because he wasn’t outside. His MECHA benefited from esoteric technology, tekvore technology, and even the Path of Creation of the dwarves; it was an artifact of extraordinary power.
WHOOSH
She barely managed to evade a tremendously powerful swing with a smooth somersault before launching a powerful axe kick on the MECHA’s head.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!
The powerful impact dented the invintium alloy even as Ieyasu activated a powerful breathing technique to prevent her retreat as he unleashed a devastating blow towards her.
She swiftly activated Worm Step, teleporting out of the quagmire she found herself in.
Only to find the Abyssal Mirror teleporting after her almost immediately.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!
Her expression grew grave as she defended against his heavy attack.
He could predict her every move with a combination of his Mind’s Eye, the Eye of Prophecy, and the VOID algorithm. However, there was a lag in his teleportation due to an increased series of delays that she didn’t have, making him slightly slower in that regard despite the foresight.
WHOOSH WHOOSH WHOOSH!
She evaded each and every single one of the blows that he unleashed upon her. In terms of speed, she was far, far ahead of the comparatively cumbersome machine and the inevitable delays that built up each stage from the decision that Ieyasu made to the moment of execution.
Her reflexes were almost unparalleled in the Martial World, and her muscle memory allowed her to perform with almost no conscious oversight necessary. On top of that, her amorphous system of thought allowed her to leverage thinking itself into her Martial Mind, allowing her to grow more and more intimately familiar with the shortcomings of his MECHA.
Meanwhile, Ieyasu continued mounting pressure on her relentlessly. He didn’t particularly care about the damage she inflicted on his MECHA with her unfathomably overpowered attacks or the fact that even the three techniques of foresight were not enough to bridge the gap between himself and her extraordinary efficiency.
In fact, the gap between them only made him greedier for what he saw.
"Once I assimilate this power, I will be unstoppable."
He could feel it. In terms of innate power, Amare was in the same category as himself and Rui Quarrier. Because of his mind-reading and his mirror neurons, he could actually sense what was happening in her nervous system and brain. He could sense the miracle that she was in great detail.
’Every single signal her neurons send is being seamlessly integrated into the muscle memory in her cerebellum. I’ve never seen anything like this. It’s... a form of assimilative evolution that’s different from mine.’
He had heard that she was the reincarnation of the woman who discovered and spread Martial Art across the entire continent, and he could easily believe it.
He could even sense what awaited him if he successfully assimilated her form of assimilative growth. While his assimilation was active and observatory, her assimilation was passive and experiential. He absorbed what he observed; she absorbed what she experienced.
What would happen if one person gained control of the power of both Tokugawa Ieyasu and Amare?
’Such a person would be a God among Martial Artists.’
They would be able to assimilate the entire Martial World.
The entirety of all of Gaia and all the paths that lie within.
’Not even he would be able to compare to such brilliance.’
His cybernetic eyes flared with greed as he continued attacking her with a ferocious aggression, as he began applying his Martial Mind to considering how he could assimilate her.
He could already tell that this would be the single greatest challenge he had faced in his entire life, exceeding even the challenge of copying the VOID algorithm.
And yet, the prospects of the power that awaited him left him excited.
RUMBLE!!!!!
The world shook as the battle between the two greatest Martial prodigies raged like a storm!
