Chapter 4560: Tapping Into Potential

This chapter is updated by JustRead.pl

One moment, he was in three-dimensional reality.

The very next moment, he had been thrust into an entirely unknown layer of the universe.

"This..." he whispered as his senses were blasted with many times the input he normally received.

His vision became multi-layered. Almost as if his normal vision of the world was stacked up with what seemed like an X-Ray vision of the world, on top of ultraviolet and thermal. He saw the higher dimensional components of all objects. He saw that all matter and energy extended into higher dimensions, but components of their existence were locked away into the higher dimensions, leaving them with only their three-dimensional components, which most living beings thought were the whole extent of their body.

However, he knew the truth now.

Everything was higher dimensional; they just didn’t know it.

However, what surprised him the most was that there were existences within the higher dimensions of reality that didn’t have three-dimensional components.

He saw strange floating blobs that resembled wisps that existed entirely in the higher dimensions, without possessing a base in the base world. They floated about, hovering around him. There were flickers of hyperdimensional matter and energy that existed all around him.

He gazed around him, noticing all kinds of things that he had never noticed before.

He noticed how distance was shorter than it had been before. In three dimensions, the shortest distance between two points was a straight line. However, in higher dimensions, even three dimensions were simply curved around them. The universe was akin to the surface of a planet, while the higher dimensions were the sphere.

The shortest distance between any two points on the surface of a planet was digging through the ground in a straight line to the destination, but if one thought that the world was flat or couldn’t dig through the ground, then one would have thought that the shortest path was walking towards one’s destination on the surface.

All three-dimensional beings were equivalent to those who thought they lived on a flat surface, while higher dimensional beings were those who took underground tunnels that dug straight to the destination in a much shorter time.

Before he could study the higher dimensions any further, he was zoomed back to three-dimensional reality in the blink of an eye while the Calabi-Yau manifolds locked him out, stabilizing into tight curls as the quantum fluxes held them in places.

"Woah..." he muttered. "So I have to continuously use my Martialverse to wash away quantum flux, otherwise, the Calabi-Yau manifolds will return."

That meant that hyperdimensional combat would be metaphysically taxing, even if not prohibitively so. It was something that he could do in battle, provided the gains were worth it.

"The gains are definitely worth it," he knew that. "Higher dimensions allow me to leverage components of my existence in those dimensions in battle. I can make my attacks hid harder, I can disperse damage across them, I can move quicker by relying on higher dimensional shortcuts to my destination. The possibilities are endless."

Similar effects could be achieved using negatron technology, but they were orders of magnitude more energy taxing and could be stopped with space-time interdiction technology. Space-time interdiction, however, couldn’t stop him from accessing hyperdimensional reality.

"This is game-changing!" he realized with an excited expression. It had been a long time since he felt this energized by a totally untapped ocean of potential. He speculated that hyperdimensional reality held more potential than any of the other Realms that he had created. Perhaps not even the Gene Realm and the Corporeal Realm could compare to the total potential that the higher dimensions of reality offered him.

Of course, he needed both those Realms to tap into hyperdimensional reality. There was no doubt that this was going to be more challenging than both the Gene Realm and the Corporeal Realm, both of which took him more than a decade in the manifold to achieve.

"It will help dealing with the Divine Mothers in the future," he noted. "Strange, despite the arakai having achieved a certain proficiency in hyperdimensional reality, the Divine Mothers themselves don’t seem to have mastered it in combat."

Then again, higher dimensions had very little to do with webs, so maybe their Verses didn’t resonate with the concept of higher dimensions that well. If so, then this domain could turn into a powerful asset when dealing with the Divine Mothers.

"There’s no doubt that they’re going to be extremely prepared for ambushes in the future."

After all, they would be stupid not to. If he was them, he would have at least six Divine Mothers on standby at the Gate of Conquest ready to immediately jump in the next time he showed up. The risks were undoubtedly going to be too high.

At the same time, they had also gathered a lot of valuable combat information on him, so there was on doubt that they were feeling confident in their ability to take him down. And Rui would be lying if he said he was confident in taking on a large number of Divine Mothers.

"Speaking of taking down Divine Mothers, it’s time to contact the dessandrites and the aquadites," Rui realized. "One of the goals of attacking the Divine Mothers was to offer it to the two advanced civilizations and have them increase their pressure on the arakai to prevent them from redirecting too much energy towards human civilization in this war."

He was confident that the two advanced civilizations would readily agree to the deal. Somebody who could get rid of War Faction Divine Mothers was undoubtedly an excellent asset. And human civilization could really do with the additional pressure on the arakai in the war.

This way, he would be weaving a net of pressure on all sides, preventing the arakai from targeting humans excessively.

He immediately contacted Divine Mother ooo—o- through a special commpad, who quickly responded.

"What is it?" The Divine Mother’s human voice was distorted electronically, causing it to be accompanied by a static hiss.

The two of them had established means for remote communication, bridging the differences in their communication technologies.

"Introduce me to the dessandrites and the aquadites. I have a deal to offer them."
