Chapter 906: Morthern’s Thoughts And Plans [Magic Castle Bonus Chapter ]

This chapter is updated by JustRead.pl

At the Luxury Viewing Box where the rest of the Wargrave family were, they had all risen to their feet in absolute shock, as none of them could believe what they were seeing. How could they have remained seated at this moment after everything they had witnessed? They couldn’t believe that the youngest, whom they had neglected for most of his life, possessed such ridiculous combat power.

Not only him, but even the fact that another person, Arianna, possessed an almost equal level of combat power was maddening. Nobody had ever achieved such destructive power at the age of nineteen, not their father, not their Elder Brother, literally nobody, and these two people had awakened at the age of fifteen, giving them only four years to train.

But the youngest, the one who had once been their stain, the one whom they had neglected and allowed the Ninth Sun to bully without interfering, had achieved all this within just two fucking years.

Their throats became dry as they wondered if the youngest was about to overtake them in terms of combat prowess. They had seen him destroy four hundred kilometers.

Although none of them had said it aloud, at this moment they knew that Asher’s Star Stanza rapier technique was enough to injure a Dust Voidstar Life Ranker. And how many of them here were Voidstar Life Rankers?

"How is this... possible?" Wuthenya asked as she stared at the battlefield before them.

’No wonder my Lunar Energy reacted, he possessed the Star Energy and Star Affinity all along,’ she thought to herself in pure shock.

"Can our Wargrave Bloodline truly produce such a being?" Third Elder Willow Wargrave asked as she swallowed hard.

They had Morthern, they had Damian, they had the former Primarch, they had Azaron, they had Malrik, all of these ridiculously talented individuals, all from one bloodline, and they understood and accepted it to a certain extent. But the sheer ridiculousness of Asher’s existence made them doubt whether their own bloodline could truly produce such a being. After all, everything had its limits.

Morthern stood with his eyes narrowed. He already knew that someone would surely write a novel with Asher in it, or someone possessing Asher’s abilities and powers. And he wondered, if he resonated with such a character, would his Fictional Reality allow him to obtain Asher’s Star Energy or Star Form.

Of course, it might not work, as Asher was someone who already existed in reality, while his ability had the word ’Fictional’ as an adjective modifying the noun "Reality."

But regardless, it was worth a try, and all he had to do was wait until a novel featuring someone like Asher Wargrave was introduced. Although he guessed that whoever wrote such a novel might not dare use the Wargrave name, so they would probably name the character Asher something else.

But then, another issue plagued Morthern, as this was where his luck would be tested. Even if his Fictional Reality ability worked and allowed him to bend the rules in this manner, would he actually be able to obtain the Star Form and Star Energy? After all, his ability didn’t allow him to choose which ability he would receive from the character he resonated with. What if his luck was terrible and he ended up obtaining a Lightning affinity or something like that instead?

He sighed and hoped that everything would work out according to his plans... although reality was often disappointing.

"So the youngest had the Star Affinity. No wonder he was pulling out one Elemental Affinity after another, and here I was thinking he possessed only Lightning," Third Moon, Xavienne, stated.

"I wonder how our battle would go if we fought..." Third Sun, Xavian, spoke as his battle intent slowly began to rise.

"Aren’t we accepting this way too easily?" the Sixth Sun, Ezekiel, asked as he still couldn’t quite understand the battle he had just witnessed.

At his words, many of the other Wargraves nodded as their hearts continued to pound from everything they had seen. The Star was the beginning of everything; it was the reason for everything, and now that someone possessed the Star as an affinity, where did his true strength and talent truly lie?

"Morthern, Morgana, we need to choose which among us Great Elders will protect the youngest from the shadows," Third Great Elder Damian spoke, his expression becoming grave.

He knew everyone would be making a move, the three Empires, the hidden organizations, the Sinvairas. Asher was destined to always sleep with one eye open and remain cautious of everyone who walked past him on the streets and roads.

But would a single Great Elder be enough? The people who would come would naturally assume that a Great Elder was guarding the Tenth Sun. And if they knew this and still decided to make a move, wouldn’t that mean they were truly prepared?

"Hmmmm." Morthern fell into thought as though contemplating the matter.

"The two of us will protect the Tenth Sun from the shadows, although at the end of the day, the decision is left to Azaron, as he himself might even choose to protect Asher, just so he can have an opportunity to fight everyone by himself," First Great Elder Morthern stated as he made his decision, though he still needed confirmation from Azaron, as he was the Primarch.

Morgana and Damian nodded. Morgana had no problem with not being chosen to protect the Tenth Sun. The fact that Morthern was even willing to leave his Library and personally protect Asher showed just how dangerous and serious the situation truly was.

"Although we might have to ask the youngest everything related to his Star Affinity," Morgana stated as she settled back into her seat.

"I’m sure Malrik himself would ask. We don’t need to personally ask," Second Elder Isabella Wargrave replied.

She too was simply too curious to know the full details related to the Star. She wasn’t exactly worried about Asher being hunted. Which Wargrave hadn’t been hunted? They all had been, right from the moment they survived their True Awakening.

Morthern’s eyes shifted in a particular direction, toward the location where Azaron and Malrik were. He sighed as he saw Azaron’s melancholic expression.

’He must be thinking about Lily,’ Morthern thought to himself.

Her death had affected every Wargrave, as she had been the kindest of them all, the type who laughed and joked with everyone.

Morthern could only sigh. After Lily’s death, he had searched for novels containing characters with abilities related to Life and Death, hoping he could somehow find a way to resurrect Lily for his dear nephew. But alas, it was as though Reality itself didn’t want the Laws of Life and Death to be altered or broken.

In the background, discussions among the Wargraves continued as they spoke about Asher endlessly.
