Chapter 907: Principals And Rulers [Magic Castle Bonus Chapter ]

At the Luxury Viewing Box where the four Principals sat, they too were frozen in their seats. Their eyes trembled in genuine shock as they couldn’t believe what they had just witnessed.

The silence finally shattered as Edrik, Principal of the Astra Academy from the Vandross Empire, spoke.

"So this is where your confidence comes from, Cindralis." Edrik’s voice was low, almost a whisper.

Cindralis closed her eyes for a moment. She didn’t even know Asher’s combat power could reach this magnitude, nor was she aware of the Star Storm and Star Energy. Hell, she didn’t know Asher could produce enough power to injure a Dust Voidstar Life Ranker. She took a deep breath, then exhaled.

She was indeed confident, but not this confident. If she had been this confident, she would have been far more smug, spoken out more, made bets with the other Principals, and belittled the other geniuses from other Empires a bit.

"I guess the same thing should be said for Raiden. No wonder he suggested making a bet and owing each other favors. That’s because he knows Arianna Haellight possesses such power and such a trump card," Iskarel, Principal of the Heavenly Academy of the Vandross Empire, spoke, his eyes shifting to Raiden.

Raiden was the Principal of the Constellation Academy from the Velkarin Empire, but he was in the same situation as Cindralis. Both of them had no idea they possessed two such ridiculous students in their own Academies, but at the end of the day, they couldn’t be blamed. After all, how could they have known?

"At least I’m glad we didn’t make the bet. If not, the three of us would have owed Cindralis a favor, and who knows how she would have cashed it in," Edrik spoke once more with a heavy sigh.

Although he didn’t say it out loud, even his own student, Acker Holloway, had given him a scare. The guy had summoned a god and received some blessing too, and to top it off with the Green Flag.

Both Raiden and Cindralis shook their heads, choosing not to comment on that particular matter.

"Forget about the favor for now. Let’s talk about their combat power," Raiden stated. "With this amount of power, how is Cindralis supposed to hold and keep the Tenth Sun within the Star Academy? At least Arianna is already in the third year, meaning she is supposed to graduate next month, but Asher Wargrave is still a first-year student."

At that question, Cindralis’ expression twisted at the thought of Asher leaving her Star Academy. But the moment the thought occurred, she couldn’t help but ask herself if Asher had to do anything more special for her that would justify stopping him from graduating. Yes, nobody had ever left the Academy after the first academic session, but if it was Asher, then she was willing to bend the rules. After all, she was the rules and answered to no one.

And besides, Asher had already won the Inter-Empire Tournament. There was simply no reason to keep him. Assuming the Inter-Empire Tournament was next year or so, and the Tenth Sun talked about graduating early, she would do everything within her power to prevent that.

But now, Asher had given her something beyond what any student had in a while. She would let him go with open arms. But... that was only if Asher approached her about graduating early, as she would never meet him and utter such things herself.

"I will let him go if that’s what he wishes. I can’t restrict him and slow his own growth," Cindralis replied without a change in expression.

She had once talked to Asher about leaving the Planet, the World Barrier, the possibility of beings existing beyond it, and the possibility of an even greater source of power lying out there. The stronger Asher became, the greater the possibility of leaving and continuing on her own path. And with Star Energy in play, that only made things better for her. She was even tempted to temporarily leave her position as a Principal and protect Asher for the sake of her own personal goals.

The Principals stared at Cindralis and nodded, saying nothing else about the matter. With that, they began presenting theories about Asher’s Star Energy and Star Form.

------------

At the Luxury Viewing Box holding the four Rulers of the four Empires stationed in the North, West, East, and South, silence reigned within the chamber for various reasons.

The Overlord, for one, sat in silence. She had once said and boasted that her son was a talent who matched the First Sun, Malrik Wargrave. But now, after her son had faced the geniuses of the world, she couldn’t help but feel she had turned herself into a complete joke.

Her son couldn’t even defeat the delusional Buddhist if they fought. After all, that guy too had displayed outrageous power. She couldn’t help but sigh. Yes, her son’s ability was ridiculous, and it possessed many paths for growth, but it simply wasn’t there yet.

She stared at Asher, wondering why the Wargraves kept producing such ridiculous genius. She had been alive during the time of the former Primarch. Although they weren’t friends, she knew just how powerful the man had been, and now that same man had birthed Azaron and his siblings, while Azaron had, in turn, birthed the Tenth Sun and the First Sun.

She couldn’t help but wonder why she couldn’t give birth to a child this ridiculous too. Not that she was looking down on her own son or blaming him for anything. She would never do such a thing.

She immediately resolved to go back home and begin trying again that very night with her husband. That man would have to put in a lot of effort.

The impotent Emperor of the Vandross Empire looked at Emperor Zolthemir with a certain gaze, as though silently telling him that he hated the Wargraves, yet they kept prospering against all his wishes.

Emperor Zolthemir Lux Vanthelmor remained expressionless. Personally, he was already beginning to accept his defeat after his father scolded him and called him his greatest failure. No child would ever want to hear a parent say such words to them, and those words had affected him on the deepest level. After all, his father was a being he had always looked up to.

So, although he had won, he felt somewhat conflicted.

Besides, he felt as though his Zarethorne Empire would soon turn into a battlefield when these secretive big names and powerful figures started making their moves simply because they wanted the secrets behind Star Energy. Although even if they captured the Tenth Sun, they wouldn’t gain anything, as Affinity was bestowed randomly and couldn’t be transferred, people wouldn’t care. And if they couldn’t, they would simply kill him outright.

’I hope Azaron can hold all of them back,’ Zolthemir thought to himself as he could feel a headache coming.

He wasn’t afraid of handling whatever came, or whoever came for his Empire, but that didn’t mean he looked forward to more work or anything of the sort.

’Star Stanza...’ He closed his eyes in thought as he ignored whatever the impotent Emperor seated beside him was saying.

’Should I tell Vaelra to make a move and capture his heart?’ he pondered silently before sighing and shaking his head.

Zolthemir simply decided to stop thinking about everything that was happening and instead follow the flow of events. Although he knew the three sneaky rulers sitting with him would probably start making their moves soon.
