Chapter 1012: Elemental Combination

’Z’ groaned as he felt the full force slammed into his body, his knee bending forward ever so slowly as though he was about to be pushed to his knees. But he refused; he would never kneel, but Asher and Arianna simply kept pressing. Veins snaked across ’Z’s body as his legs started to straighten once more, as though his body was getting stronger mid-battle. The moment his stance straightened, he swung his katana to the side, effectively throwing both Asher and Arianna to the side.

But both of them simply twisted midair and landed on various trees, their eyes focused on the man before them.

Light coursed through Asher’s body, boosting his speed, Lightning did the same, while gravity reduced his weight, also augmenting his speed. With that, he shot forward like a bolt from the heavens itself, his body golden-purple.

Arianna wasn’t behind; she was beside him, her speed matching his. The moment they appeared, Asher erased the Light photons in the air instantly, creating total darkness, taking the idea from the Hollow where he met Xal’Thar.

It wasn’t a particular attack against ’Z’; it was an attack on the environment itself, so ’Z’ couldn’t Mirror it.

Asher and Arianna didn’t need Light to see, their special abilities allowing them to see regardless. Although ’Z’ possessed insane and heightened senses, he still couldn’t see totally in the dark.

And with that, Asher’s and Arianna’s attacks landed with sickening ease. Asher’s rapier, which was aimed for the neck, missed ever so slightly as ’Z’ dodged at the last possible moment, his senses and instincts saving him, but not without injuries.

Arianna’s twin short swords took his left hand from below the elbow, as she had originally aimed for ’Z’s shoulder, but the man had dodged. Blood splattered into the air from both injuries as ’Z’ hit the ground with a thud.

The both of them immediately came to a stop as they turned to press their advantage in the darkness, but as they moved, Asher’s control over the Light Photons slipped, as this was just a skill he had created on the spot through Star Energy, but at least it had allowed them to injure the man.

The moment his control slipped, ’Z’s vision returned, and the moment it did, the man transitioned into his Katana Technique.

His Astra energy rumbled outwards as he used his only remaining hand to unleash a catastrophic wave of Lightning calamity upon Asher and Arianna as they closed the distance.

They immediately stopped as they both transitioned into their own sword techniques. Since ’Z’ could already use Lightning, they could use Lightning without worry.

Star Energy burned, Astra energy burned, purple Lightning surged, red Lightning screamed as they both seemed to intertwine into a volatile attack, then slammed head-on into the coming purple attack from ’Z’.

With a world-bloating blast, everything around them was met with carnage beyond all measure. What seemed to resemble the chirps of millions of birds erupted into everyone’s eardrums as Lightning met Lightning with continuous and unending impacts. A massacre drank everything, as nothing remained.

But Asher and Arianna weren’t going to let this advantage slip through their fingers by waiting for the smoke and debris to clear; who knew what ’Z’ would pull at the last moment? And so, with that, they dove headfirst through the devastation and earthquake as they didn’t wait, their bodies leaking blood as they employed their own healing abilities while they streaked forward.

’Z’ was already in sight as various sword marks from the Lightning could be seen on his body. His cold black eyes snapped towards them. Arianna vanished from where she was, her body appearing behind ’Z’, and before the man could even blink, Arianna climbed onto his back and held him in place from ’Z’s shoulders as she activated Spatial Lock on the both of them, her eyes resolute.

Asher didn’t delay, his Star Energy screaming as his heart beat even faster and faster, Star Energy flowing into Virelass as he raised his sword and performed a horizontal swing.

Crescent-shaped Star Energy came into being, collapsing into each other as they surged until they formed a dazzling white Star, and with a thought from Asher, the dazzling white Star exploded outwards with world-ending output as everything within a five-hundred-kilometer distance was consumed as though a Star had erupted at that range.

Arianna had already vanished as she didn’t dare remain in place, but the attack still caught her hand during her teleportation.

But ’Z’ was simply half Human, half Cockroach at this point, as the attack tore through him, he simply created another Black Hole to devour most of the Star Energy attack that was tearing through his skin. The moment the attack stopped, ’Z’ could now be seen standing, his body bleeding, but he stood as though he could never fall, as though he could never be brought down. He had survived Star Stanza, after all; it was never powerful enough to kill a Voidstar Life Ranker, but only injure one.

But the attack had dealt more damage to him due to him having already taken more damage before Star Stanza was used against him, hence forcing him to use Black Hole.

"Voidstar aren’t so easily killed, Tenth S—" ’Z’ spoke for the first time since the battle began, but his words were cut short as Arianna had teleported again.

Her entire left arm could be seen missing, as Asher’s Star Stanza had torn it apart, and she couldn’t regenerate it unless she purged the high-density Star Energy within the injury.

Endless Seal Of The Damned

Her Astra energy surged as the familiar circle with unfamiliar pattern appeared. Chains burst forth from the ground, wrapping around ’Z’s waist, limbs, and neck, instantly sealing his Astra energy.

"ASHER!!!" Arianna shouted at the top of her lungs as she teleported away once more, as ’Z’ struggled futilely against the seal.

Hearing Arianna’s voice, Asher raised Virelass to use Star Stanza once more, but the next moment he stopped as inspiration seemed to suddenly fill his mind and body.

His Star Form vanished instantly as the next moment he tapped into Virelass’ new ability, specifically the one that allowed him to use 100% of the Astra energy stored within Virelass to unleash an attack.

The entire energy within Virelass erupted forward. It had to be known that this was the amount of energy that Asher himself possessed, and at this moment, Asher possessed the Astra energy to rival a Radiant Voidstar Life Ranker. StellarFlame came alive as he raised Virelass towards the sky.

But he didn’t stop there.

From Asher’s heart, Star Energy pulsed violently, Lightning converged at his heart, Light moved too, Space moved, Gravity surged towards his heart, and StellarFlame raced there too as all the elements seemed to fuse together within his chest.

And with that, Asher brought Virelass down. The moment he did, devastating firepower that seemed to match the power of a Radiant Voidstar erupted from Virelass in total armageddon. But Asher’s attack didn’t stop there, as the combination of elements in his heart surged through his body, then expanded outwards in total obliteration that bordered on the level of erasure.

Both attacks being unleashed at the same time seemed to merge and step over the threshold of a Radiant Voidstar Life Ranker as an unscalable level of attack was unleashed, swallowing ’Z’ whole, who could only stand there watching in total horror.

The devastation of the attack scaled to a five-thousand-kilometer radius as only extinction existed within that radius.

And with that, Heir Of The Star, Asher Wargrave, and Child Of Hope, Arianna Haellight, stood in victory as they had erased a Voidstar Life Ranker from existence.
