At the Ducal Wargrave Estate, within Asher’s room, a flash of silver erupted, and the next moment, the entire Wargrave family appeared as Asher had teleported everyone to his room. They removed their hands from his body and looked around his room for a moment, briefly taking in the familiar surroundings before their attention returned to one another."If I didn’t see it, I wouldn’t believe it," Wuthenya spoke in a calm tone, "to cross such a distance without any artefact or anything of the sort is insane," she commented.
Of course, they all knew about Asher’s teleportation abilities, but they had never thought that it came without distance restrictions, amount of people he could teleport with, Astra energy cost, and the likes. So, not only she, but even the others were amazed by it.
"I wonder how many kilometers exactly did we just cross?" Xavienne added as her eyes danced around Asher’s room.
As she spoke, Xavian, her twin brother, followed up as he too spoke.
"Hey, Asher, when did you change rooms?" His tone was calm, as this wasn’t the room he recognized and visited when Asher was still little.
"Just about a year ago," Asher replied flatly.
But as Asher and the Suns and Moons spoke, Azaron, the Elders, and Great Elders simply headed towards the door as they moved to step out, as though having nothing to say. Opening the door, the group stepped out as they headed to handle various matters that might have and had happened in their absence.
Malrik’s eyes danced across Asher’s room as though looking for something. Not finding it, he spoke in a calm tone, "According to you, you leave Marks at the place you are supposed to teleport to," he stated, "but there are no Marks in your room, not on the wall or any piece of equipment here."
He was simply curious to see what the Mark looked like, nothing else.
Asher shook his head as he spoke, "I’m practically the only one who can see it, so it’s invisible to everyone." As he spoke, he pointed at a wall as he added, "The Mark is on the wall."
Malrik and everyone’s eyes turned towards the wall, but the wall had no markings. Golden-orange Solar Energy flowed towards Malrik’s eyes as he used it to scan the walls thoroughly, but he found nothing. After that, he simply shook his head and gave up, his curiosity fizzling out.
"Anyway, see you losers later," Malrik stated as he too headed towards the door and waved at his siblings.
Nobody acknowledged him. Why would they acknowledge him calling them losers? And with that, only nine people remained within the room, Asher and his remaining eight siblings.
Malrik had simply left to check on his own private station. After all, Malrik also had his own Frontier, where he hunted Emovirae and Monsters almost all year round. And after spending almost a month at the Thalvorn Empire, he needed to check on his subordinates and the status of everything else.
His body turned into a golden-orange blur as he vanished from the Wargrave Territory entirely.
Asher turned to his siblings after watching Malrik, the Elders, and Great Elders leave.
"Aren’t you guys also leaving and have somewhere else to be?" He asked, his tone calm as his purple eyes moved from one of them to the other.
This was the first time that all Wargraves had stepped into his room. Well... they didn’t technically step in here, as he had teleported them, but it was still the first time they were all here. Although Azaron and the rest had left, it was understandable; they were simply too busy and didn’t have time to waste.
"Are you chasing us away?" Ezekiel asked as he jumped onto Asher’s bed, as though it was his own room.
"That only makes us want to stay," Mary added as she too jumped onto the bed, pushing Ezekiel to the side, telling him to scooch.
Asher could only shake his head with a sigh as he had nothing else to say. His eyes shifted towards Wuthenya, who was simply floating midair as she manipulated gravity, as she had nowhere to sit. Olivia could also be seen floating too as she supported herself midair through Time Manipulation, everyone floating through one means or the other, as Thalric simply sat in the only chair remaining in a reverse position as he simply just watched.
"Now that I think about it..." Apollo spoke, his fingers touching his chin in thought as he spoke, "when was the last time we all gathered in a single room?" He asked as he really tried to remember, "aside from things like awakenings and True Awakening, or some announcements and stuff," his question lingering in the air.
The answer that instinctively came to their minds was Asher’s True Awakening Event, but that wasn’t counted, as it was simply the Law to attend, and they didn’t dare miss it. But after thinking for a while, none of them could come up with an answer. It had indeed been a very long time, after all, everyone was busy with their own thing.
Suddenly, Xavian clapped his hands as he spoke, "I have a great idea."
His words and clap drew everyone’s attention as they turned towards him with questioning expressions, wondering what the idea was.
Seeing that he had gained everyone’s attention, he spoke, "How about a sibling hangout? Just us, no one else," he suggested.
But before anyone could even speak, Xavienne added, "Let’s do a spar. We all fight against each other without any reservations. After all, we have some of the best healers working for us," her tone brimming with excitement.
As she said that, Xavienne’s and Xavian’s red eyes met as they smiled at one another and nodded.
Mary looked at them from the bed she was lying on and spoke, "I swear you two are just crazy." She shook her head.
Everyone also shook their heads. For a moment there, they had thought that these twins were about to suggest something good and normal, but all they wanted to do was fight. While fighting was fun to all Wargraves, it was only fun when you were fighting with a true enemy and with your life on the line. Not your sibling.
There was no fun in that.
"I won’t say no to the idea of hanging out," Ezekiel stated as he remained on the bed.
"But the question is, where would we be going, and what would we be doing?" Thalric followed up with a flat expression.
Everyone fell into their thoughts, but they, who had known nothing but fighting, killing, bloodshed, and more fighting, couldn’t come up with anything fun to do.
Was there even anything fun for a Wargrave to do?
As for Asher, he simply stared at his siblings discussing hanging out as he leaned against his bedframe. Personally, he didn’t even know what to suggest, and even at that, he would never have guessed that the Suns and Moons would ever gather in one place and talk about hanging out.
’They should have suggested this while we were still at the Thalvorn Empire,’ Asher thought to himself with a shake of his head. ’There are so many activities there, not here, where the only fun activities Nobles know are sleeping with their opposite genders, drinking, and going to balls and galas,’ he mused to himself.
