Chapter 1051: Packing

This chapter is updated by JustRead.pl

Instructor Clinton, not one for standing on ceremony, suggested that Asher, William, Finch, Ryaen, and Vaelric spar with the trainees. Asher and his friends immediately agreed, each of them taking on multiple opponents at same time while Clinton gave instructions from the side on things they needed to correct.

To Instructor Clinton, this also acted as a form of motivation for the trainees. And with that, Asher and the four musketeers left the Training Ground all together as they had finally finished their tour. It had taken some time, but they had enjoyed it.

"Well, that is all there is to show you," Asher spoke as they walked out.

"Not really," Ryaen stated.

Asher’s head tilted in confusion, as he had indeed shown everything there was to show.

Seeing Asher’s confusion, Ryaen explained, "Although you showed us the Wargrave Estate, you didn’t show us the Wargrave Territory. I didn’t come here to get locked up inside, so the tour hasn’t exactly ended," she stated with a smile.

Asher sighed as he explained, "I guess we would explore that together. After all, I’ve not really explored the Territory."

William, who was picking up a flower from the garden, spoke, "That makes it all the more fun."

Asher sighed, then spoke, "Let’s go, it’s not like we have anything to do at the moment."

Asher didn’t bother telling them to change their clothes or anything like that, as he had done the last time he moved around the territory. Although they were now popular and almost anyone would recognize them, Asher simply used light photons to layer an illusion over everyone.

And with that, they blurred from their positions, not bothering to go through the gates as they simply scaled over them and went to explore the territory. Lyra maintained a hundred feet of distance this time as she scanned every single person that walked past Asher, even children being considered suspects in her eyes.

William and the gang spent hours outside, and soon the sun began to dip below the horizon before they finally returned. At this moment, they were gathered within Asher’s room as it was already 9 p.m. at night, the moon hanging in the sky.

They were having a meal as Lyra had served them. She had also brought in more chairs and stools into Asher’s room. They simply talked about today and various other things, talking about Azaron’s statues, the same ones that Asher had seen two years ago. Even now, Asher had his own statue too, and his friends had teased him about it.

As the night deepened, it was time for everyone to return to their own rooms. But Vaelric and the rest didn’t leave, hence, Asher simply told Lyra to bring four smaller beds and pillows that would fit into the space of his room. So, they all slept within the same room, but on individual beds.

The days passed as three days went by ever so swiftly. It was now time to return to the Star Academy, and at this moment, they were all getting ready to leave. After all, Cindralis had told them that anyone who came anytime beyond 12 on the dot was expelled.

"Sigh, I can’t believe it’s time to go back to my hard life," William stated with a heavy sigh as he packed his bag.

He had enjoyed the three days he spent here and the three weeks he had spent at the Thalvorn Empire. How was he supposed to go back to attending classes, going on missions, and locking himself away in training? He couldn’t help but sigh again, being lazy and carefree was simply too fun, but alas, that was a one-way ticket to death.

"For real, if I remember I have to attend Instructor Jude’s hand-to-hand combat class, I suddenly feel dizzy," Vaelric added as he folded his clothes into his bag.

As a Prince, someone should be doing this for him, but at this moment, he was just Vaelric.

Ryaen, who was sitting at the side as she was done packing since she had done that yesterday, replied, "You guys complain too much. If you don’t train, how are you guys supposed to catch up to Asher and me?"

Finch looked up at her as he spoke, "Don’t think I don’t know you are sneaking your name in beside Asher. You are just like us, just a normal person," he mused.

As he spoke, he took out a Teleportation Scroll that had been given to him and tossed it to Asher, who wasn’t even looking in his direction. As it was about to hit Asher’s head, the Teleportation Scroll froze midair as Asher froze it in space.

"Instructor Melissa said I should give it to you," Finch stated, then turned towards Vaelric and threw one at him, which the boy caught and dropped on the table.

Both Asher and Vaelric simply nodded, as they both knew that the Teleportation Scrolls had been shared on the Sky Jet, but they weren’t there, and how the students were supposed to return to the Star Academy on their own without any Instructors coming to fetch them.

"Asher, we still haven’t seen the Duke for the past three days. I thought you said we were going to see him before our departure," William spoke again, his eyes turning towards the clock on the table as he added, "It’s already 10:30 a.m."

Asher sighed, then spoke, "Look, man, I don’t know where he is," his tone tired. "It’s not like I have him on speed dial or something. Besides, he is a Duke, his schedule is always tight," he explained.

Although he said that, he couldn’t help but wonder what was keeping Azaron. After all, in one hour and thirty minutes, he would be leaving the Estate, and Azaron hadn’t delivered on his promise.

’Is this the world’s way of punishing me for breaking my promise to Rachael?’ he mused to himself.

As Asher was lost in thought, William took out his phone, then took Finch’s, Vaelric’s, and Ryaen’s phones too, before giving them to Asher.

William and Finch had already explained to the both of them that Asher had a way to sneak things into the Star Academy. After all, if any of them were caught with phones or anything that wasn’t their clothes, they would face penalties. So only Asher could sneak them in for them.

Asher took the phones, and they immediately vanished into his System Inventory before he finally closed his box.

"Phew! Finally done," he stated. Personally, Asher didn’t even know why he was packing his own clothes when he was going to apply for early graduation.

As he was about to talk to Ryaen, a knock echoed through the room.

"Come in," Asher stated.

It was Lyra, who was back with another round of lavish meals, enough to last Asher and his friends for a whole year. It wasn’t only her, as behind her, other maids pushing food trolleys entered the room.

’It seems she has gone all out again,’ Asher thought as he gazed at the sheer amount of food. ’I guess she is accounting for me sharing with Ryaen and the rest,’ he concluded.

"Leave them here," he stated.

The maids bowed and left, not saying a single word.

The moment they left, Asher simply waved a hand, and the entire cuisine vanished, leaving only empty trolleys.
