Chapter 1201: Congratulations

As the attacks were a picosecond away from collision, the Grand Regent, who couldn’t move, suddenly moved as she defied all expectations. The multiplied gravity acting on her failed as she was never caught in it. Her Augmentation ability came alive as she pushed her speed to the limits, her sabre leaving its scabbard as she unleashed two techniques at once.

Her Augmentation ability augmented her Movement Technique to the peak as she dodged in a moment that was less than a picosecond. Her ability, Augmentation, pushed her Sabre Technique to the limits as she attacked within that same timeframe. She didn’t unleash a single attack but two.

One aimed at Damian’s neck, the other at his shoulder. Each was perfect, dangerous, and yet... so beautiful.

Damian’s eyes widened in shock as he couldn’t believe what he had just witnessed. But still, surprise and shock didn’t stop him from reacting nor slow his speed, as this wasn’t the first time he had been surprised in a battlefield.

As he moved to dodge both attacks, Damian saw that he couldn’t keep up in both perception and sheer speed, as something had happened.

And with that, metal met flesh as the Grand Regent’s sabre carved through flesh like a butcher’s knife through livestock. Blood splattered into the air as Damian’s left hand soared into the air, half of his neck split open as blood spurted to the ground in waves, his head barely hanging on as he had nearly been decapitated.

Damian didn’t waste time nor hesitate; he multiplied the distance between him and the Grand Regent, his body vanishing as he appeared two million kilometers away, erasing any chances of a follow-up attack.

But the Grand Regent was adamant about pressing her advantage. She appeared in a blur beside Damian, her sabre screaming through the air as she moved to end him once and for all.

The symbol on Damian’s forehead remained at the multiplication symbol (x) as another symbol appeared; the division (÷).

His Astra Energy surged as he immediately divided the force and power behind the Grand Regent’s attack to zero. He shifted on his feet as he unleashed a foot attack towards her jawline.

The Calculator ability multiplied the speed, power, and force behind the kick. But before his foot could connect with her jaw, the Grand Regent reacted as she vanished from where she stood, reappearing a couple of kilometers away as she stood with a smile on her face.

Damian’s neck sealed shut as he finished healing, another arm growing in place through the multiplication of his innate biological regeneration.

He clenched his fist as he sighed. He didn’t know when last he had lost an arm in a battle, a century ago, was it? He wasn’t sure. Now he had... which brought a smile to his face.

A smile appeared on his face once more as he didn’t look like someone who had just come face-to-face with death. His eyes snapped towards the Grand Regent as he spoke with a smirk on his face.

"Congratulations on your ability evolution."

His tone was calm and indifferent at the sudden change in the battle tempo.

"Morgana would be pissed when she hears this," he added with an amused tone.

He had come to the conclusion that Grace’s ability had undergone an evolution. He had suspected this throughout their battle, as she could never push her ability to this scale, a scale where she could match his own level.

And now, with that evolution came Deaugmentation, which was the opposite of her Augmentation ability.

Through this ability, she had deaugmented Damian’s perception and speed, making him unable to react to the Quick Draw Technique, which split his neck and arm. It was also through this new ability that she was able to escape the multiplied gravity and land the attack.

She could have used it since, but she saved it in order to catch her opponent off guard and kill him in one go. She had nearly succeeded, but unfortunately, although she deaugmented his perception, his sixth sense worked perfectly fine.

So now, they were both able to reduce each other’s speed, strength, and perception, which was a very similar ability that they possessed.

Damian smirked as he loved this new development. With a step, he vanished as he divided the distance between him and her to zero. As he appeared beside her, the symbol on his head changed to multiplication (x) as he increased the sound waves and vibrations around the both of them to a staggering degree, then he unleashed them upon the Grand Regent without a shred of mercy.

Deaugmentation came alive as the Grand Regent instantly reduced the destructive power of the sound wave and vibration attack. But as she did, Damian simply multiplied it, increasing the intensity, and with that, it entered a battle of tug-of-war as one reduced and the other multiplied.

The Grand Regent gritted her teeth as her Astra Energy surged frantically. Although she was a Crownstar Life Ranker, she did not possess endless Astra Energy, and she certainly couldn’t keep up with Damian, who was a Wargrave and could keep going endlessly.

She immediately tapped into Augmentation, her speed peaking as she vanished. But the moment she moved, she fell into Damian’s trap. The sound waves and vibrations surged as the next moment they didn’t just multiply in destructive force and power, but rather in sheer quantity and number.

The Grand Regent’s eyes widened in pure shock as she saw this. She couldn’t believe what she had just witnessed. Before she could react, the numerous sound waves and vibrations slammed point-blank into her. The force roared through her body, tearing muscles, tissues, and bones.

She gritted her teeth as she deaugmented her sense of pain and augmented her regenerative ability to keep up. This was the best she could do at the moment.

The logic was simple: if Damian could multiply coins infinitely, why couldn’t he multiply sound waves and vibrations too and use them to attack from all directions?

Damian vanished from where he stood, his body appearing high in the air, his fist shooting downward like a spear from the Heavens itself. The multiplication and addition symbols appeared on his forehead at the same time, as the next moment, that one fist multiplied into one billion gigantic fists, jam-packing and bloating out the entire sky and sun as the clouds couldn’t even be seen.

These weren’t just normal fist attacks; they had been multiplied in power, speed, force, and destructive capabilities.

Damian felt his Astra Energy take a big hit, but he didn’t care. He had an enormous amount anyway, and his recovery rate was immense.

His lips parted as his voice echoed through the sky in the pure ecstasy of someone who hadn’t fought in a long time.

And with that, the one billion gigantic fists screamed downwards with apocalyptic speed that surpassed the re-entry realm of movement.

The Grand Regent failed to comprehend how someone could possess such a ridiculous level of Astra Energy. She couldn’t help but curse the Wargrave bloodline in her mind. They were simply too ridiculous.
