Her ability evolution had brought about an all-round change; her Astra Energy had increased too. But this? It paled to fucking this. And this was ridiculous.
"I WON’T FUCKING LOSE AGAIN AFTER A FREAKING EVOLUTION!!!"
She screamed at the top of her lungs as she possessed the pride of someone who had undergone an evolution. How many people could achieve what she had achieved? How many? Although there was no historically exact number, they were said to be less than ten; some said they were less than five.
Now that she had joined such ranks and matched Damian in pure physical strength and speed, and also evolved to possess the same destructive capabilities as his Calculator abilities, how could she simply allow herself to lose just because she was saving Astra Energy?
Deaugmentation came alive as her Astra Energy exploded like some form of dam had shattered. She stared into the incoming attack as she spammed various Deaugmentation functions without hesitation.
Speed Deaugmentation. Destructive Power Deaugmentation. Energy Deaugmentation. Range Deaugmentation. Impact Deaugmentation. Acceleration Deaugmentation.
She didn’t pause until the power behind the one billion gigantic fists dropped to a considerable range. Deaugmentation changed into Augmentation as she augmented herself. Her sabre hummed as her Astra Energy cloaked it, reducing friction and increasing cutting power and speed.
[Sky Sabre Technique: Singular Slash]
Her Astra Energy exploded forth as her arm moved upwards, as she slashed towards the sky. A wide and long singular slash erupted, then divided and slammed into the one billion gigantic fists with world-ending force.
The resulting aftermath was nothing that could be described. The already shattered battlefield was ruined even more, the scale of destruction surpassing three million kilometers in radius as it expanded to four million kilometers in radius.
Energies of various types slammed into each other as the sky itself seemed to collapse in totality. The clouds exploded like fireworks, and from them, rain poured down upon the entire shattered and erased battlefield. It was as if the planet itself was crying at the scale of such raw power, as if it questioned why it allowed such beings to exist within itself.
Domes of explosions rang out in succession, each expanding into varying diameters. Plumes of smoke rose towards the shattered sky as everything was blackish-red at the moment.
Below, the Grand Regent panted, her body charred from the various explosions, her body littered with injuries of various degrees, some parts of her body brown, some purple, some red. She coughed up blood as her internal organs threatened to collapse.
But she held on, her eyes blazing with unwillingness to lose yet again.
Even after her evolution, her Augmentation couldn’t do what Damian’s addition and multiplication symbols could. She couldn’t just multiply her own attacks like he had done. So, even if her own ability had evolved, it still didn’t reach his own level.
She regulated her breathing, her injuries healing as she poured Astra Energy into her Augmentation ability. Her eyes raised to the sky to see Damian floating with a smirk plastered across his face, as he hadn’t been affected by the attack.
A thought of escape flickered within her mind, but she immediately killed it. Escape? NEVER!
Although her Astra Energy barely remained at around thirty percent, she wasn’t leaving.
Damian, who was in the air, stared down at her. Personally, he could unleash that attack again if he wanted, but he didn’t. He could tell that the Grand Regent was reaching the end of her journey, and he was ready to react if she decided to escape.
He floated down from the sky, his feet touching what remained of the earth below as he began to speak as an interesting idea came to mind.
"I have to say, Grand Regent, it’s been a while since I was forced to use this cheating part of my ability."
He stated calmly as he subtly praised her for making him use a part of his ability he hardly ever used; the multiplication in quantity aspect.
"In a family such as mine, being talented is simply being basic, and being monstrous is simply being talented. Normally, someone of my talent should be considered a monster by all levels. But with the existence of my nephew called Azaron, and my brother Morthern, I can only pass off as a normal basic guy."
He sighed as he spoke, as he understood the power those two possessed. Even with his ability, they remained above him.
"And with the addition of Morgana, who has almost fully evolved her ability, Malrik, whom I can’t understand, and the Youngest, who seems even more outrageous, I can only train harder and harder. If not, I would be swept under the rug by each coming generation."
He wore a tired expression of a man who was surrounded by abnormal people. His eyes shifted towards the blackish-red sky.
The Grand Regent stared at Damian as she wondered what this fool was mumbling about. She didn’t care about his family drama and dynamics. But she said nothing; she would take the time spent on talking to regain as much Astra Energy as possible to keep fighting until she won.
"In light of these events, Grace, I’ve come up with an ultimate skill that should allow me to bridge the gap."
He stated as his black eyes turned to her, a smile appearing on his lips as he proceeded to ask.
"Do you want to see my ultimate skill? Something that took six decades to create and another decade to perfect."
He asked with a bit of a longing tone to show it off.
The Grand Regent stayed silent for a moment. After a moment, she simply nodded slightly, as she knew whether she agreed or not, this man would still show it.
With the confirmation, Damian rose into the air as he floated once more. His Astra Energy erupted from his body in a dangerous manner, the already blackish-red sky turning golden due to the sheer amount of Astra Energy he unleashed.
’How can he still possess such a ridiculous amount of Astra Energy?’
The Grand Regent asked herself in pure shock and wonder.
But her shock didn’t last long as Damian spoke.
[Ultimate Skill: Log Multiplication: Alternate Version]
With a booming sound, the sky shook as the Astra Energy formed ten different golden portals. And from these portals, ten beings stepped out, each of them wearing white uniforms with six stars on the side of their chest. Each possessed black hair and black eyes, all possessing the exact same face.
The Grand Regent’s eyes widened in horror at what she was witnessing. At this moment, her eyes fell on ten new Damians. She didn’t know what, but her body, soul, and mind told her these weren’t just clones; her existence told her it was something more.
And indeed it was.
Damian had this idea for a long time. If he could multiply things, both physical and non-physical, why couldn’t he multiply himself?
And after a whopping total of seventy years, Damian Wargrave, the Third Great Elder of the Bloodline Of Doom, could now create alternate versions of himself, all possessing his peak strength and possessing true Will and thought.
All ten Damians stared down at the Grand Regent as they all possessed the same memories. Each of them extended a hand, then punched downwards with indifferent ease as multiplication signs appeared on their foreheads collectively.
The Grand Regent could only stand and watch. What could she do exactly, as over a billion attacks sang towards her body?
’Simply a family of Monsters.’
She thought to herself as she simply closed her eyes and accepted her fate.
And with that, the attack slammed into the world with an apocalyptic crescendo that wiped out everything within a ten-million-kilometer radius. The devastation seemed cosmic, it seemed stellar, it seemed divine, it seemed... breathtaking.
And with that, the Grand Regent died, as even after her evolution, she had still died to the Bloodline Of Doom.
