The expert with the reddish-purple hair said, "Just treat this as a seclusion. The heavenly source qi here is quite dense. It's not a bad place to cultivate. At the very least, we can move freely in here instead of being forced to enter deep sleep in the Immortal Realm. If the others can withstand this solitude, we definitely can as well."

"It's not that I can't withstand the solitude...but this is really too lonely." The expert with the silverish-white hair asked, "Are you not lonely here? Deep sleep isn't that bad. You won't notice the passage of time. Being awake can also be a torture at times. I'm tired of this tiny ruin."

The expert with the reddish-purple hair nodded in agreement. Yes. It was indeed lonely and boring here.

He said, "This time, the Jade King was ordered by the Emperor himself to contact us. Since they are making us do this, the time for us to leave is likely near. They wouldn't have picked us to do this otherwise. I suppose the war between our realm and the Human Realm is near."

They wouldn't be activated before the war. Thus, they could only deduce that the war was near.

The expert with the silverish-white hair said, "Exactly. When the war begins, humanity will be busy dealing with the immortals at the front lines. We can then emerge and stab them on the back, cutting off their retreat route. This will eventually lead to their destruction."

He continued, "Fire King, how many hidden experts like us do you think are there in the Human Realm? Are there any hidden experts from the other races in the Human Realm as well?"

The Fire King smiled and said, "I don't know. But I'm sure the number won't be low. The various races wouldn't have left without leaving some trump cards behind. Take our race as an example. I reckon we have at least three similar ruins occupied. The divines and devils must have done the same as well..."

The expert with the silverish-white hair said, "I can't wait for the war to break out. I can't wait to give the humans a big surprise. Just when will the war happen?"

"Soon." Fire King said, "According to Jade King, these carrier treasures will be stored here for now. After collecting one or two more of them, destroy the teleportation door."

They were not the only ones here. They were merely the only Eternals here. The rest were either Sunmoons or Mountainseas. Over the years, they had all cultivated and waited patiently for the right timing to arrive.

Having spent nine epochs fighting humanity, the immortals were naturally aware of how annoying the humans were to deal with. Thus, they would never let go of a chance to create more trump cards to be used against the humans.

Early in the tenth epoch, they had only allied with the humans for pragmatic reasons. At the time, Tiangu had yet to wake up. The immortals wouldn't benefit from defeating humanity then.

Eventually, the various races were forced out of the Human Realm. However, they had long taken over some ruins hidden in between space. They only withdrew from the publicly known ruins while keeping the well-hidden ruins for themselves. As for the ruins they withdrew from, they had naturally destroyed those ruins.

Thus, quite a large number of people were still living within these well-hidden ruins. It was likely that each of the major races had several such ruins under their control. The people in these ruins had been kept inactive as they waited for the perfect moment to strike. These people would serve as the tool for their pincer attack to eliminate humanity once and for all.

Su Yu was naturally unaware of all that.

Not long after the carrier treasure was sent over, he received a voice transmission from the female furball, "My imprint is gone. I can't feel it anymore. Was the carrier treasure sent straight out of the realm?"

The female furball had lost contact with her imprint.

Su Yu was surprised to hear that. He stared at the door in astonishment. Was this thing good enough to deliver things outside the realm? Was it really so impressive? It certainly didn't feel like such an impressive tool.

Su Yu was no stranger to teleportation devices. Hu Xiansheng was also an expert in this subject. Su Yu had personally witnessed Hu Xiansheng's door in action. The range for such doors wouldn't be too great. The door was only able to send someone from the Allheaven Prefecture to Great Xia at full strength.

Sending something out of the realm would be too difficult. The door in front of him did not contain the amount of power required for such a task.

Su Yu said, "Outside the realm? The difficulty for that would be too high. It's very likely that the carrier treasure is still somewhere in the Human Realm...but...are you sure you can't sense it anymore, Lord?"

"I can't."

As a super expert who was also a sentient law, the female furball's imprint was something even a ninth-degree Eternal could barely detect. Since the imprint had gone missing, had it been erased? Or had the signal been blocked by some unique power?

A place capable of blocking the power of laws...

What manner of place could do so?

Su Yu sank into thought. After a while, he thought of something. A ruin.

An ancient ruin would have such an ability. There was no doubting that. Why? Because when one affirmed one's dao inside an ancient ruin, there would barely be a phenomenon, signifying that the heavenly laws were incapable of detecting what was happening inside an ancient ruin. However, each ruin could only support one dao affirmation before it was fully exhausted of resources.

It wasn't that laws were absent in these ancient ruins. Each ruin would contain its own laws that were likely left behind by the original owner of the ruin. Someone compatible with the dao of the original owner would be able to grow much stronger from achieving dao affirmation in the ruin.

For a ruin to block even the female furball's detection, it needed to be an unexploited ruin. An unexploited ruin was essentially a ruin that had yet to support a dao affirmation. It must be a newly discovered ruin. Or an old ruin that had been occupied yet kept unexploited until now. But how was that possible?

As Su Yu laughed at the ridiculous thought, his face stiffened. Just how many ruins were there in the Human Realm? He had no idea. He doubted anyone had the answer for that. Any known ruin would have been used long ago. The existing human peak Sunmoons wouldn't have been so desperate that they had to gather carrier treasures through slaughter in the Allheaven Battlefield otherwise.

"Wait, it can't be a ruin, right?"

Preparing a teleportation channel through a ruin wouldn't be a short project. But a ruin was the only thing that could block the female furball's detection. Or had the carrier treasure really been transferred out of the Human Realm?

"Whatever. I'll put this matter aside for now. It's only a carrier treasure. I'll have Hu Xiansheng check the door later."

Su Yu was feeling quite regretful. He had been planning to bust the spy network of the immortals through this ploy, but it had failed.

Damn it! What a waste!

Then again, this wasn't necessarily a bad thing. The immortals should feel comfortable enough to keep their mouths shut after receiving a carrier treasure, right?

"A ruin...Or outside the Human Realm?"

Su Yu wasn't sure. If it were really a ruin, it would be an unexploited ruin, something he could still benefit from. In any case, he would know after asking around.

He wasn't completely clueless about the dao of space, but his accomplishment in this dao was rather shallow. He had no way of seeing through the teleportation door. But Hu Xiansheng might love this door.

Putting the door aside, Su Yu continued receiving visitors. He was trying to scam as many people as he could. After making their payments, it would basically be impossible for these victims to reclaim their carrier treasures from Su Yu.

Su Yu loved scamming. After all, robbing required the use of force. It could get annoying. Meanwhile, a scam was essentially an exchange between two willing parties.

Su Yu did not deliver more carrier treasures through the door. Instead, he had the female furball leave an imprint on a heaven weapon before delivering the weapon over. That was a weapon jointly forged by Heavenly Forge King and Zhao Tianbing. It had just been completed not long ago.

Since Su Yu did not have the habit of using weapons forged by others, he decided to perform another test with this weapon. He really wanted to know if those on the other side were inside or outside the Human Realm.

He could even check with Heavenly Forge King after this if there was any backdoor left on the weapon to further make use of it. But as usual, the weapon seemed to have vanished right after it went through the door. The female furball still couldn't detect its destination.

Su Yu was quite astonished. He had high expectations as the female furball was a Daofuse. But it wouldn't be difficult to check either. He only needed the female furball to enter the Allheaven Battlefield for a bit. If she still couldn't sense her imprints there, these spies would most likely be hidden in a ruin.

"Did the immortals discover a new ruin in the Human Realm and took over it in secret?"

Su Yu had yet to extend his thought process too much. He had been stuck at the assumption that a new ruin was in play. He was still under the misconception that Great Qin King and the others had chased all invaders out of the Human Realm during the war back then.

After all, it had been so many years. There shouldn't be any enemies from back then left. This wasn't bad news for him. The level of the ruin wouldn't matter. No matter what, a ruin should come with some carrier treasures, right? It was also a safe place for one to attempt dao affirmation in peace.

Weren't Zhu Tiandao and Marquis Xia still stuck in the Sunmoon Realm? A ruin would be perfect for them. Sure, a ruin could only accommodate one of them, but that was better than nothing.

As time progressed, Su Yu continued selling his fake petals. After selling about eighty or so, he finally stopped. Selling too many of these petals might end up exposing him earlier than he wanted.

He had received twenty carrier treasures from his sales. Then, he sent a carrier treasure and a heaven weapon through the door. Even so, this was still a massive profit for him. Sure enough, the myriad races were rich. Even the minor races were somehow able to afford his price.

After some time, Su Yu tried sending more treasures through the door. But this time, it failed. Perhaps the spies had detected something. Or perhaps they were simply nervous. In any case, the door no longer worked.

Su Yu was surprised. Did they destroy the connecting door? How odd. Were they wary of detection? Or were they so easily satisfied? Once again, Su Yu reminded himself to ask Hu Xiansheng about the door tomorrow. Perhaps he could gain something surprising from this.

At this point, the night was over. A new day had arrived.

When Su Yu arrived at the academy, he noted that his formation was near completion. Clearly, Junior Zhou King's time acceleration had been quite effective.

At this point, all the Invincibles working on the formation were already looking pale from exhaustion.

When Great Zhou King saw Su Yu, he smiled and said, "It's almost done. Only a few doors are left."

He would leave after the completion of this formation.

Su Yu nodded and sent a voice transmission, "Your Majesty, are there more undiscovered ruins in the Human Realm?"

"Are you asking about Nanyuan?"

"No. Human Realm as a whole."

"I'm not sure. There might be more. Are you looking for more ruins?"

"No. I suspect the immortals might have taken over a newly discovered ruin in the Human Realm."

Great Zhou King sank into thought. Then, he said, "That might be the case. Or not. It might also be a ruin that has been under their control since back then. I did try to look for these ruins in the past, but these ruins are too hard to find. Back then, we were under an alliance with the immortals. Thus, we allowed them to take over quite a number of ruins. After their departure, we tried looking for these ruins, but we could never be sure if there were more left. If you find anything, you can let me know about it."

A ruin under their control since back then?

Su Yu nodded and said, "I understand. I'll notify you if I find anything."

Just then, Great Ming King roared. Then, a tower made of ten thousand doors took form before rapidly shrinking.

A lightning tribulation started appearing in the sky.

A punishment from the heavens had arrived.

The formation had produced a punishment instead of a reward. Perhaps it was because this formation was essentially a weapon of murder. Nevertheless, the tribulation was quite a minor one. Before Su Yu could do anything, it was easily scattered by Great Ming King.

Then, the completed tower flew toward Su Yu.

The tired Great Ming King gasped for breath and said, "Your requirements are too high. Any formation of this scale could have been completed much earlier. Don't even think of skimping on your rewards for our help this time."

Su Yu laughed and said, "Thank you, everyone. You will receive double the promised treasures after my father's birthday celebration. For now, I have a birthday celebration to attend..."

Beside him, Great Zhou King was rendered speechless. Was this guy trying to renege on the debt? No, that was unlikely. Perhaps he was waiting for one of them to die. That would save him some of his treasures.

How stingy!

Great Ming King and the others did not think too much about it. This was the day of the celebration. Thus, they would only need to wait a day to receive their rewards. This was no big deal.

Great Zhou King smiled and said, "You must all be tired. Let's find a comfortable place and take a short break for now."

Su Yu laughed. The ones to emerge from the break might all be clones.

Great Zhou King was ready to leave.
