Su Yu did not bother to wait for Great Zhou King and the others. They would appear when the time was right. As for how many of them would arrive as clones, he was unsure. Great Zhou King had mentioned that he wouldn't be taking too many Invincibles with him.

The newly reconstructed Nanyuan was similar in design with the past Nanyuan, with the biggest difference being the fact that most of the buildings in the city were new. A majority of the original Nanyuan residents had yet to return.

Nevertheless, a large number of locals had still gathered outside the city. They were here to celebrate Su Long's longevity. Longevity for reaching fifty years. For many, that was quite an awkward thing to celebrate for someone as young as him.

The city bustled with noise and excitement.

Colorful lanterns and banners filled the entire city.

The majority of the people currently in the city were not commoners. Rather, they were the soldiers from the army. These soldiers were also the ones receiving the many guests at the city gate.

A large number of guests had arrived. That included the myriad race visitors. Since they were already here, there was no reason for them to skip this celebration. The experts of the thirty-six prefectures were also present, even if some looked rather unhappy to be there.

After all, this was also the day of Su Yu's coronation as the new holy lord.

Shang Tianjiao shot back coldly, "Am I wrong? Just how old is his father? And how old are the various prefects? Every Sunmoon is older than a hundred. How dare he make everyone celebrate the longevity of their junior?"

Beside her, Shan Xiong stopped her from saying more. Things had changed. She had to start watching her mouth around certain topics as not even the Shang Family could protect her anymore. He doubted that even Great Shang King would want to get into a quarrel with Su Yu anymore.

Shang Tianjiao had no respect for Xia Huyou and the others, but she was quite obedient when it came to Shan Xiong. Right after his warning, she shut her mouth.

Xia Huyou smiled and said, "Shan Xiong, you'd better keep a tight watch over her. Don't let her say anything stupid in the city. It's fine here since we're all old friends. But...things might get ugly if Brother Su hears about it."

Shan Xiong nodded and warned the furious Shang Tianjiao again with his eyes.

Mo Duona was the strongest. Xuan Wuji was dead. Zhan Wushuang had lost his spirit recently. A few Heaven Index geniuses had died in Su Yu's hands. This allowed some new names to enter the Heaven Index, resulting in a wider gap between the different geniuses on the same index.

They continued chatting among themselves in a relaxed manner. They were all confident that nothing major would happen today.
