Betraying my new allies will render the deaths of all those brothers of mine pointless. I can only proceed on this path until the very end. However, you will join me in this battle."

Yu had an unsightly expression.

"Fool! I told you! He won't be our match outside!"

She was furious. Escape had been possible! They only needed to leave and Su Yu would not be their match anymore! Why did this idiot do something so stupid at such a critical moment?

Hundred Battle King laughed, "How can you be so sure about that? It hasn't been long since Su Yu's rise. He accomplished such incredible feats at such a young age. He is a Creator. Hundred Battle King returned his gaze to Su Yu and said, "I had been underestimating you. Even knowing that you might have created a world, I still believed that your creation was merely a joke with how weak you were. But now...reality has proven that I am but a mere frog under the well."

"You're right. I might be much older than you, but I...lack tempering. I have never experienced true despair. Today, I managed to experience a tiny bit of it." Hundred Battle King chuckled, "Only now do I understand that compared to that previous fear of mine, true despair is a lot more terrifying.

"Back then, I cowered in fear after meeting Yu. Today, you shattered that fear I held toward her."
