Su Yu raised his brow, "Was Longbrow right? No way. Did you lose all your courage after meeting someone at the level of Martial Emperor? How can you call yourself the human lord if your heart is so fragile?

"A mere Martial Emperor. A mere Yu. In the ancient past, they would be mere third-rate beings. If you fear even the likes of them, how are you supposed to contend against the beings of chaos and those behind the Heaven Gate?"

They were merely weaker tier-two Masters of Laws. Su Yu would barely be a tier-three after leaving his world. He would be weaker than her. But he had zero fear. For him, she was merely a piece of trash who had barely survived the ancient past.

"With a casual wave of his hand, worlds were extinguished, and daos were ruptured. The prowess of Human Ancestor is far beyond your imagination. I once asked around if anyone was capable of similar feats during the ancient past. Everyone told me no. Not even Culture King. Not even Human Emperor."

Hundred Battle King sighed, "Such a powerful Human Ancestor, yet his opponent was comparable in strength. Too strong. So strong that I sank into the deepest pit of despair. And then, Yu appeared, showing me hope while I was deep in the abyss of despair. If Human Ancestor could return earlier, he might be able to resolve the coming crisis."

Su Yu raised his brow, "Who was Human Ancestor's opponent?"

"A name we can't mention." After saying that, Hundred Battle King laughed.

Su Yu laughed as well. "What nonsense is that? Whatever. I don't care. Strong or weak, that is Human Ancestor's business. Not mine. So you lost all hope after seeing that battle?"

"You can say so." Hundred Battle King nodded. "I saw more than that. When I learned of Control King's lineage, and when I learned that they are of Human Ancestor's line as well, when I learned of Yu's existence, and when I learned of the secret Human Ancestor followers among the ancient marquises...I lost all hope."

"You are quite useless." Su Yu laughed, "I'm not saying this for the sake of insulting you. Strong as these people may be, so what? Right now. Right this moment. The world is still ours. Just like how I know Human Emperor and Culture King are strong, but so what? Time Sage is very powerful. So what? Since they aren't around, I call the shots here. When they return, I might need to bend over and call them daddy. I might need to bend my knees and beg for mercy. I might be wiped out with a single wave of their hands. Who cares? That is a matter for the future me to worry about."

Su Yu grinned, "I'm not scared of their prowess. I only know that right now, right this instant, I am the granddaddy of the Myriad Realms. What can they do even if I shout insults at them right now?"

He knew they were strong. Time Sage? That must be quite a terrifying being. Yet he had milked her power for his own growth without fear. She wasn't even around. She was free to come back and display her displeasure if she could.

When she was back, he would naturally bend over if it was required. But why should he piss himself in fear before she was even back? If he were so cowardly, he would have killed himself in fear the moment the Master of the Perished appeared. After all, he was already the number one enemy of the Master of Death due to what he did to the Celestial River of Death.

Hundred Battle King smiled bitterly and said, "Perhaps you're right. Perhaps we're really different. Perhaps my life has been too smooth. I was a child prodigy who was victorious in every battle. The notion of defeat was very foreign to me. And then...a single defeat was all it took to send me crashing from the heavens."

"Therefore, it's very hard for us to understand each other."

He had never suffered a defeat before. And when he met Yu, he was defeated both mentally and physically. Some could rise again from such a defeat. Some would wallow in their defeat forever.

Hundred Battle King had been stuck for many years. Now that he was speaking openly about all that, he had truly recovered from that defeat. Alas, it was too late.

Su Yu sighed regretfully, "A pity. I can no longer see any fear in you."

"Yes. To defeat fear, a greater fear and despair are required." Hundred Battle King laughed, "Thanks to you, I woke up."

"No, no, no. I'm not as powerful as Human Ancestor."

"But...you're still strong enough to kill me, right?" Hundred Battle King sighed, "You killed Longbrow, Evergreen, and now, you're trying to kill Thunderstorm and Yue Luo. Su Yu, these are my comrades. My companions."

Su Yu nodded. He looked at the furious Yu and smiled, "Why don't we join hands and kill Yu?"

Hundred Battle King chuckled, "See, you're truly full of tricks. Even now, you're trying to take advantage of the crack in our relationship. Killing Yu now is the same as killing all of us. I might hate her, but not really. I only have myself to blame for my weak mind. For now, I still need her strength against you. How can I turn on her at this critical moment?"

Su Yu laughed, "Yu, why don't we join hands and kill Hundred Battle? I promise to let you leave my world after that. If he survives this after defeating me, he will probably turn against you. This is something you should understand so long as you have a brain."

At that, Yu's eyes flickered.

Hundred Battle King's expression changed slightly as he said, "Su Yu..."

Because of you, the allies of humanity declined, and some even suffered the fate of extinction."

Like a judge, Su Yu listed Hundred Battle King's crimes one after another. His voice spread everywhere as he roared, "Now that you're regretting your past, you're trying to receive the treatment of a hero? How laughable. Also, this isn't even true regret. You should be targeting Yu instead if you have truly awakened.

"Hundred Battle, you are nothing but a hypocrite. Why are you pretending to be a hero? A saint? What do you expect from me? Why do you expect any form of courtesy from me? As a traitor, a sinner, and a disgrace, what are you expecting from me?

Su Yu laughed, "What a joke. If you had the courage to face me alone, I would have respected you somewhat despite your status as a sinner. But now, you're trying to join hands against your so-called enemy against a legitimate human lord. What do you expect from me?

"I am the hero here, not you." Su Yu said, "I am the hero of this era. Since you wish to kill me, forget about keeping your reputation as a hero. You are nothing but a disgrace. A disgrace for eternity. The ninth human lord, a traitor and a sinner. Humanity will remember you until the end of time."

Hundred Battle King paled slightly.

Down below, Great Zhou King and the others blanked out.

When Hundred Battle King first returned and when he first spoke of his desire to face Su Yu unyieldingly, people like Redmoon and Blood Shadow had indeed experienced a slight change of heart. They felt as though their master had returned.

But Su Yu had refused to show him any courtesy. Instead, he started listing Hundred Battle King's crimes publicly. Everyone was stunned. Due to the overwhelming strength Su Yu had displayed today, everyone had neglected many things.

But with Su Yu's words, everyone came to a realization. It was too late for Hundred Battle King. No matter what he did, he couldn't change the fact that he had chosen wrongly in the past. A single apology was not enough to redeem him.

He was a sinner.

He was the reason for humanity's suffering in the tenth epoch.

He was the reason for all those lost lives.

Redmoon and the others paled as they looked down.

According to Su Yu's words, all of them were sinners as well.

Su Yu's aura surged as he said, "The underdog has always been pitied. Even when the underdog does something wrong, some will say that nobody is perfect. Everyone makes mistake. But there are degrees to the mistake one can make.

You are more deserving of death than them.

"But you are different. You are a hundred thousand times more hateful than the myriad races. Against the myriad races, I only need to fight. There is no need to argue who's right or wrong in our conflict. But you are different. Everyone needs to know how much of a sinner you are. You are no hero. You are supposed to be a human lord, yet you betrayed humanity. You betrayed your nation, your home, and your people.

"Yet someone like you wishes to leave a pristine reputation in the history books? You wish to be remembered as a hero of the ninth epoch by the future generation? One who has realized the error of your ways and turned around? What a joke. Stop dreaming. So long as I stand, you will remain the greatest traitor of all time. "All history books will record your deeds in great detail. Your infamy will be known for eternity. The future generation will understand that someone like you does not deserve a sterling reputation."

Hundred Battle King paled even more. As of that moment, Su Yu's presence had completely overshadowed his. Right after he awakened, right after he believed that he hadn't erred that seriously, Su Yu had informed him that he was the greatest sinner of all. He was the greatest traitor.

That was not a label Su Yu had given to even Control King. Su Yu had merely stripped Control King's title. That was all. Su Yu had not bothered to slap any labels onto the myriad races. He merely fought them. Su Yu did not even show much hatred toward Yu. All of Su Yu's hatred was reserved for him and him alone.

Su Yu spoke again, "Originally, I believed that you made your choice due to your own difficulties. If you weren't actually colluding with the sinned lineage, I would have thought that you were merely awaiting a better timing to make your move. That still wouldn't make you a hero, but it would at least make you a respectable hegemon.

"You would have been someone with a different preference, someone preferring to preserve his elites to score a bigger victory in the future. That would still be respectable for me. It wouldn't be a choice I agree with, but you would still be worthy of respect if that managed to secure you a victory against the sinned lineage and myriad races.

"But then...I learned that you have been colluding with the sinned lineage all along. Your sole goal is to summon Human Ancestor back. Because you were terrified. Hundred Battle, you are a total piece of trash."
